How did you find Digital Point??

How did you find Digital Point?? ... The first time silly

I can't remember the exact search term as this site was probably one of many I opened in a new tab while continuing to search ... I think I was looking for something along the lines of "Google keyword ranking"

 

Shawn (or someone from DP) posted at Spider Food Forums about the keyword tool and I started using that, then discovered the forums.

 

I think most people will have been referred here by other users of the tools whether mentioned in a forum or a SEO article, I know I was.

 

someone suggested I use the keyword tracker, then I started using the other tools, and eventually joined the forums

 

A little over a year ago I had the task of finding an ISP billing / management package for the company I work for. Optigold ISP was the clear winner! When Shawn started the forum he moved the official support channel of Optigold to the forums.

 

Looking for Google Keyword Ranking Tool on Google, came up with the site

 

I was thinking that I was having a good day, posting like hell on another forum, well those guys did not like me because I was blasting their favorite SE.

So what happened was, the members ganged up and conspired against me to try to get me banned from the forum.

Well I guess I said one word too many, damm, those members got me banned from the other forum, hard to believe that folks don't like my opinions, really that was devastating, they hurt my feelings

Then some angel tapped on my shoulder and said, man just go to Digital Point, they will really love you there.

So I jumped on my horse, road west to California, found Digital Point, thought I found the best forum on earth.

Threw up a few posts and the same damm thing happened again, some guy named Compar started to attack my posts and it started all over again, I had to stand my ground against a mad gang of DP members who wanted my scalp pinned to the wall.

I was starting to think there was something wrong with me, but then thought to myself, na can't be me, must be those crazy folks at DP who are nuts.

Why would they want to get rid of good old me, you know I was right, they just voted me down to the depths of no live link permissions, they did not get rid of me, nor ban me, they just put me at the bottom of the class, just like they did when I went to high school. They figured I was just a trouble maker so they put me in with the kids who went to school half the time and worked the other half (occupational work experience program).

Thats alright, I was just put in my place here, just like I have been throughout my life, so I am in the right place, right at the bottom of Digital Point where I belong.

Does the floor need swept? How about those trash cans, I will take it out.

 

I really have no idea. I think the KW tracker was posted on another fourm, Compars favorite, and once I started lurking, I found I liked it here much better than over there.

Searched for "Google API forum". Then I got delusions of posting and making hundreds of dollars from the revenue sharing.

 

I think it was a link Shawn posted at SEOCHat for a tool or something, then I saw the forum and recognized many posters from SeOcHaT!

 

Can't remember where I found the link, but it was to the keyword tracker, which of course shortly lead to the forums.

 

Searching for some seo term in Google

 

I found the link on sitepoint.com forum but it took a while to find DP forum page

 

I followed a link in DP signature on another popular SEO forum.

I spend a lot more time reading than writing when I am here, since you guys are sharing so much info.

 

I used the keyword tracker and keword suggestion tools for a while and never noticed the forum.

My brother mentioned the "new tool" thread and told me to take a look at it.

Ever since then, I've been here.

I used to check WMW all the time and post fairly regularly on there but got pissed with all the post editing.

This is much better.
