Does the name FX mean anything to you?
If you are like me, a computer enthusiastic and a hardcore gamer, and if you were older than 15 back in 2004, You probably know what I'm talking about.

Forget the Sledge Hammer, Bulldozer is in town.
That's right folks, Bulldozer, AMD's upcoming CPU micro-architecture is finally here, it going retail from the next month onward [expected date of launch: 19th September]. And AMD is going to call it FX, once again.
Can the new FX repeat the magic of original AthlonFX? Does it have the same Raw power that AthlonFX used to have once. Is it truly a return of a Legend?

Looking at the datasheet, it certainly seems so.

Pretty nice specs, huh? Yes it is..

A close look at the architecture diagram reveals much info about this beast. Check them out -

So finally a worthy rival for Intel's Core i warriors. This is gonna be fun. when the two giants will clash again, head on head.
Who will win, who will lose? Only time will tell..
