Exclamation WebmastersPalace.com Review!

First off all, please do know that this site is not even near finnished!

I am currently running WebmastersPalace.com, and I am really interested in what you people think I should add/delete! I know lots of you will just say "Add Content". But that is exactly what I am asking you, what kind of content, got any links for me to see examples of what you mean etc etc etc!

Thank you for taking the time to review my site.

You're creating a website about webmasters, so content about webmasters would be a good start.

The template of your website is a bit messy, the lettertype is a bit small. I would use a fixed style website, I run a 19" my head is turning from left to right to read the text.

I personally just started a Internet Marketing Website for and by Webmasters, take a look at WebMarketWeek.

I would start by filling all your empty Article categories on your site.
You can start by using free content sites then allow submissions for when you grow. I am obviously a little biased but to give you an example:

For your domain name category you can pull articles from here:
http://www.articledepot.co.uk/list-Domain%20Names.htm
Each one has an HTML button so its just cut and paste - For example:
http://www.articledepot.co.uk/gethtml.php?id=17168

Also -

On your main page, you need to have something in the middle that stands out. Right now a user will be confused where to start. You have to take them by the hand and direct them to where they want to go.

I know its still under construction so good luck!

You have a very long navigation on the left site. There are links in the middle of the page about the faq, advertising and more. As suggested a fixed style would make things more synoptic.

I keep getting error messages with HTML ")" objects that are expected. Some links don't work like buy domains freedesign. The directory is not in the same template as the rest of the site.

well for the Articles. I got some one who will be writing at least 10 articles a month. You think it would hurt to add any extra like the ones you mentioned? Or will it just improve my website?

And what would you suggest that could stand in the middle?

It won't hurt at all, in fact it will help. There are benefits to both free-use articles and unique ones.

Depending on the skill of your writer I would feature his..Kind of like an "Expert Corner"

And I appreciate that, but as I was requesting more for comment on the content, rather then on the design. Thanks again.

I don't see anything about the words. I think this is one of the main weaknesses I see in many sites for Webmasters. I see design and I see SEO, but I don't see just good old writing information. If you set up a section about that topic, you could just about corner the market for that topic.

I think you need to add some more color and and contrast- The site does not seem to invite as it should. Maybe a bright colorful header. It would make all the text seem more natural to me

thanks
