minimum requirements for Text Link Ads

Does anyone know the minimum requirements for acceptance into the text link ads program?

Actually I don't believe there are any, I have seen PR0 sites at their marketplace as well as sites with almost no traffic. It also probably depends on the category of the site, for example they might be more strict at categories where there is already a big supply and more lenient at categories with limited supply.

Which ad program did you use? I am usingReceiveLinks, there are no restrictions to PR, you only have to comply with basic guidelines: indexed site, no gamblig, adult etc.

I think he's talking about http://www.text-link-ads.com/. Did you check their guidelines? I can't remember what the rules are now but they have to have some editorial discretion on sites so that their database has quality sites. One of my sites got accepted as a publisher but if I search for it, it's not in the list. Could be because the design isn't that great so they don't want to show or some mistake. I don't see why they would reject your blog though - it's recently cached, pr 2 and looks to have decent traffic.

Have no idea on this but if you have a PR4+ site,they will approve it in no time!

I have a PR4 Blogger blog, less than 50 uniques per day and they accepted it no problem. PageRank must be much more important than traffic to them!

Kinda lame if you ask me. What about counting the # of backlinks and analyzing those pages PR then determineing whether the site is worth accepting or not.

I just got accepted immediately for a PR4 site that has 3 pages and gets no traffic...

and this is why text link ads doesnt return the same results as contacting sites your self. seems like they rely on PR as much as all the seo newbies.

This is what they say they do. They say they take more into consideration than just PR or number of backlinks but they probably make most of their money off of sites with high PR and/or high alexa ranking since most people probably don't take the time to look deeper into it than that so that probably creates a bit of a bias.

It looks like PR4 is their threshold...I don't think they factor anything else into the initial filter.

It's a matter of PR and number of pages your website have.

If I remember correctly, my PR4 site automatically got approved(in 2 seconds). Ofcourse I was already a member there and had a approved site there but I don't think this made any difference.

They might have disapproved because you(not ritchie but other person of PR2 blog) might be using blogger becasue nowdays a single post 3 month old blog can also have PR2

Why would you want to be included in TLA? I have had zero sales there. They sell links at a 100% profit which makes the prices way too exorbitant for most people.

it's obvious they want higher PRs. I think they will accept PR4 + right away.
