I have a webpage on geocites and i tend to keep it updated wiht some stock markest and refianance , I am averagin like 5 $ a day do you think that is
its a problem , shud i be having my own domain name or can this be ok

doesn't really matter. having on a unique domain will help return users remember the URL.

better to buy a domain for $ 8 a year and host it with some cheap host than geocities.
that will help your site look more professional

Yeah considering how cheap it is to get a domain and a basic hosting package, making $5 a day, it would probably be worth your while. If it only increases your revenue by 20 cents a day, it will pay for itself.
