I am let down by the lack of XML feeds. I was currently looking for a feed to put on a site that contained information about local movies. You would think places like Fandango or MovieFone would have an affiliate program for just this thing. Nope! Is anybody else outthere having the same concerns?

Is there anything related to www dot imdb dot com? They seem to have a ton of movie info including releases and searches by locality.

Web scrapping is done a lot these days to extract data. But then thats the reason why XML Feeds exist. But take for example the Advanced Search Option. If Websites dont give XML feeds with arguments as that of the Advanced Search then web-based HTML extraction is the only other way.

Theres already a script that extracts Y! Movies Showtimes based on a zipcode.
