    sitemap is like a page with all links to your internal pages, usually i create sitemap in xml file, using free sitemap generators, and submit it to google hopefully google can index all my website pages.

    Either use a:

    * desktop program
    * online service
    * install a php script

    All above solutons have their own advantages and disadvantages.
    However, if you can find a PHP script specificly for your forum then...
    Most would recommend that, perhaps even I :)

    There are two types of sitemap. HTML sitemap and XML sitemap.
    HTML Sitemap is for website visitors so that they can find all pages on that website if the site is large.
    XML Sitemap is for search engine spiders for better indexing of web pages.
    XML sitemap is more important for website indexing.

    A site map is a list of pages of a website accessible to users or we can say site-map is a document in any form used as a planning tool for web design,or web page that lists the pages on a website.
