I'll be selling the following forum http://www.marketswag.net (comes with marketswag.com and .org) as well. The forum has almost 2,000 members and 42,000 posts. The forum earns around $7 USD a day from Adsense, and can make up to (and over) $200 USD a month from it. Bounce rate is pretty low. It comes with a year of shared hosting, 3 domains, the forum and anything else required. The site receives 14K+/mo UV and 205K+/mo PV. Ranked 232k in Alexa. Any other info, post here.

The money made is $200/mo from Adsense alone. You also have around 6 positions to sell ads. If you were to implement an extra advertisement method, you may possibly get an extra of $75-$150/mo alone. This is a great opportunity, and definitely has the potential to get 1,000,000 posts in 18 months, even less if it grows, which it will.

The forum is a paid to post forum, although you make a profit with just adsense alone! If you were to add another advertisement campaign, you could possibly double your revenue. Not to mention, there are approximately 25 ad clicks on a daily basis, this is a high click rate. The forum is demanding though, with over 1k+ posts a day, you need to be active.

Paid out $60+$100 = $95 profit from Adsense alone. 2 ads sold at $40 total - $135 profit in ONE month.

You're selling your forum that has $220.00 USD revenue per month for $400 .. it doesn't make sense ..

 

I have Grade/Year 12 in a few months, so I can't focus on the website much more. The forum receives 1k-1.3k posts per day, which is too much for me to handle. Advertisers are requesting positions which I also can't handle. Not to mention it's a paid to post forum. You pay approximately twice a month, we've paid out $60 last month ($160 in profit that month [half of the month]) and $110 this month with a profit of $40 ($150 from ads). This amounts to about $100 a month pure profit from Google Adsense alone. If you were to put an extra advertisement campaign, you could double this to $200 a month.

 

Do you have any Adsense revenue stats,Google Analytics or Traffic stats of atleast 3-6 months?

What he is not telling us is that his forum is paid to post. He is paying the members $0.05 for every thread and $0.03 for every comment. That makes large expenses monthly. So I believe the $220 from adsense is all paid to the members. It means that the forum gets almost no actual income.
If you stop paying the members, a lot of them will simply leave the forum which means a decrease in UV and PV.

There's proof of a $255 profit from 24th of June to 20th of July. We've paid a total of $60 last month and $100 this month. That's a $95 profit NOT including the $40 from 2 ads sold. $135/mo is pretty good, not including the 40k posts which the database alone is an added $70 for content.

 

Provide proof of the past pay outs.

What's your current policy on paying the posters when it comes to taxes? Are you reporting each poster as an independent contractor (and thus, filing the Internal Revenue Service Form 1099-MISC form and collecting their SS# / EIN#), or disregarding this and limiting the amount each poster can earn from you each year to below $600?

If I were to purchase this it would become a business asset, and I would need to protect myself legally. That's why I ask

 

If I were to do that it would be illegal of me as it contains the users emails and how much they were paid. I don't even know how you would like me to provide it.

I have not considered that yet as we've only had 2 payouts, the highest someone has been paid out was $16.

Because you don't have the time to run it, can you be payed in installations?

Say I run/own the forum, but you get paid all the profits until your $400 has been reached, or maybe longer.

I'd actually love not to sell it, since this is such a large money maker, thing is, I don't have the time to and I want to get out of this quick and painless.

 

Alright. I was just wondering because then you could get a steady income for say, 5 months or so. And then you don't have the hassle. I'd prefer it that way if I was to buy it, but it's up to you.
