Just a little question Will the SERP's get back to normal once the PR update is over? I'm getting increases and drops all over the place
Hopefully Yes! After All Data Centers Done the updates. but We must continuing SEO our site for better Rankings.
The 'update' is just a data push. eg, the new toolbar pr that you see has been used to rank sites for a long time, it is just now being shown on the toolbar. Google updates on a daily basis now so you will continue to see minor fluctuations, the good news is that when you get good links or improve content or structure, the benefit will reflect in your positions alot quicker. The update of pr is only really useful if you are selling links.
i hope google will normal google when this update has finished . my visitors which are coming from google has dropped over %90
Yeh i know that.. but some of my sites are going up & down like crazy, while others are staying in the same position.. so i wondered if this has anything to do with the update..
It''s odd that they should be fluctuating so much, I'm seeing changes of around 15% from day to day but according to google, the days of big updates are over, they now focus on tiny updates every few days
Well yeh, but not to the extent of being wiped out completely, then coming back and then being wiped out again.. in a matter of days
yeah one of my sites got hit hard in the serps this week. dropped out of top 100 for several keywords that is was top 10 for. The site is a 10yo PR6 and did get several PR6 and PR5 internals during this update, but I'd take my SERPs over PR anyday. chris...
I think today my affected site has got a total of 8 Google referrals thus far. Normally, it would be the highest referrer and provides around 400 refrrals a day.
Am i the only one that since december lost all my 1500uniques visitor/day from google? and now i see just a few google visitors day ( like 2 or 3 at most 5
I think this is just sick! To lose that many visitors in one instant is just not acceptable. Its OK if you have demoted for your keywords somewhat because, perhaps you haven't done the appropriate SEO, but to be demoted out of site is just awful! Good luck!
The pr update will have no effect on ranking because the pr values have already been taken into account. Check your ranking over different datacenters for a more accurate view of your ranking
The peron is saying they lost all their traffic from google but it does not mean they don't have traffic from other sources.
I doubt that toolbar PR updates and serps have any relationship, especially considering that it is a snapshot of your PR from 3-4 months ago and which is updated once in a quarter whereas serps are constantly being updated.
