shoe has a Q&A section now in his blog...he mentions positioning PPC ad text to form an "arrow" pointing right-ward with the bolded KWs.

i cannot vouch for this, just passing it on, folks... :D

I think it's pretty self explanatory. What more could be explained?

Shoemoney has screen shots and more explanation in his blog. Just check it out. It's more than can be explained here.

It works for one word keywords or short phrases, but for anything much longer than 10 characters, with the Google limits, you end up not being able to say anythything of substance and you just become one big blob of bolding which does not necessarily help.

I think the idea is to not get too bolded, and to have the bloding spaced nicely. I have found that putting a non-bolded keyword between 2 bolded keywords can juice the CTR.

Hmm, I'll have to test this. I've noticed a 50% increase in CTR when I repeat the keyword twice in the copy, but for long tail phases there just not room. I'll do a 10 day test on adgroup and post up the +, or -.

I've tested it and it doesn't really work for me for some reason.
Maybe because my position isn't that good anyway.

Yes I'm sure there is some kind of psychological reason why this works, but it does.

Will anyone that tests this, post their results here so we can check a larger, broader sample?

I'll be sure to do the same.

I like to make my ads in the shape of a naked woman, it works better then the arrow thing.
