Looks good, but wont most Wiki users rely on the inhouse search function? I don't really see how this could take off on a large level.

I dont really know where wikiseek fits in at the mo, if i want to search WIKI ill go on wikipedia what im used to. I think ill continue to use Google for the for the the time being which brings up loads of WIKI pages in searches anyway.

This search engine has biased results! I mean most of the search results are from wikipedia itself. It's still nothing compared to google.

Well...their slogan does say "A better way to search wikipedia" I think websites that have external links through wikipedia shows up in results.

as wikipedia is gone nofollow to all external links, I guess not all dudes will put much effort to write quality wiki-content-pages and link to own web sites, thus, decreasing it's value.... wikiseek will be not even close to wikipedia (in my opinion), google all the way !

Comparing wikipedia and google... of course google will win! :mgreen:

And I don't think wikiseek is technically laid out pretty well for now.

Looks nice if you want to search results mostly from Wikipedia. I don't see how this will change all that much with general searching that still will require a more traditional engine, but I wish it well.
