Earning your first $100 check from Google Adsense - Create Adsense vending machine

Ever wonder how you can earn your first $100 check from Google Adsense?
In the beginning, I remember when I first received my $5 check from Google. It was exciting. Despite of the amount, I was excited that I was able to generate something from the internet. After one year, I have managed to get $1,200 check every month. Of course Adsense is not the only thing I have created, but just to stay focus on our Adsense topic, here is what I did to earn checks with Google Adsense.

Step 1: IMPORTANT - Find the right keyword!
Duration: 1 ~ 2 Days
I wouldn't even move one step without finding the money keyword. Find out what people what.

After finding the right keyword, rather than buying a brand new domain (age 0), I buy minimum of 4 years aged domains. Usually, you can buy them under $100. I can discuss more about this later, but it makes things a lot faster.

Warning: More than 90% of people fail with Google Adsense, because they bank on the wrong keywords. I made my mistakes in the beginning, and it cost me arms and legs. Everything went down the drain.

Step 2: Build you WP site
Duration: 1 day (2 hours)
When you do this for long enough, it will take only few hours to setup your WP site. You will have your own templates, which worked, and you can recycle them.

Step 3: Marketing
Duration: 2 months
This is the part that will take some time. Two things are involved in this.
1) Genearting quality content
2) Creating quality backlinks

Warning: It's not about the quantity. One quality article will worth a lot more than ten useless content. Focus on your topics. Make sure not to go off topic talking about food when you're landing page is on technology. I also made mistakes on this.

Step 4: Monetization
Increase eCPM and CTR by narrowing down my topic. I usually do this from the start listing out everything that I will be discussing on the site. This helps me to stay focus.

These are my standard four steps that I have used for my Google Adsense. If you are new at this, don't expect to make bank from Adsense. Although there are many people who are making good income, in my personal experience, it takes a lot of practice. It's very doable for anyone to generate cash with Adsense.

For this account, I had it less than a year.

 

Site design is also very important.
Many people make the mistake of trying to build a fancy site that looks "professional".
Often simpler is better, when it comes to generating a high clickthrough rate.

I guess you have more account and more websites, but how do you get unique and quality content.
Do you personally write on each wp, do you have time for all, or do you have a system to get the content ?

According to my own experiment, ad placing bellow article body generates more clicks

 

We have found that the ad position that works best is a large rectangle below the headline and before the text, aligned left with the text wrapping to the right.

To better answer your question, this is what I did.
In the beginning, I wrote tons of original articles. Once you understand about your niche market, you can simply delegate others to do the work for you.
I have to admit that there is no way for me to write tons of articles, and that's where writers become very handy. They are very creative, and they just love writing; they are good at what they do, and I am good at giving directions.

Once you have the blueprint (me) + content writer + link builder, you will have a great chemistry.

If everything fails, it is due to my poor blueprint. Lack or research and direction will lead to failure. It's kinda like giving a wrong blueprint to constructor to build a building. It's usually up to the architect. This is part of the reason why most people fail within their 3 months or so.

Once you know how the system works, you are able to build your own vending machine. Start multiplying them.

For me even the ads placed just above the ads are doing well.
Most of the time I get more clicks on the upper ads than lower ones below the content. But it totally depends on the site. Same thing doesn't works everywhere in Adsense.

 

$5 cheque? does Google sends $5 cheques also?...

if you are paying to writers and link builders then $1037 cannot be your net income.

 

google is up and down it certainly isn't easy money. but, what is easy money. it is a good program, but does require a lot of hard work if you want to earn more than a few dollars.

 

Definitely, my average US cpc is $0.42 and average Indian cpc is $.16. Now that's a huge difference.
