I have been posting for 2 weeks here on DP, I think I have replied over 30 times now to user questions, but only 4 of my posts show up to date. Is this normal for new users (if so, how long does this last?), or is there something wrong with my posts not getting into the moderation que? thanks
This thread is a bit old now so not sure if you found the answer or not, but DP's Introductions section does not increment your post counter. All other sections do though, as far as I'm aware.
I posted the clarification above. The "Introductions" forum does not increment your post count. Therefore, posts made there do not add to your overall posts. You need to post in other areas. To access the BST, you need to have been a member for two weeks, and have 25 posts on the forum. It can take upto one hour for your permissions to become active.
You didn't really. The question was how long are new members moderated. It would appear that the user had 30 posts hit the moderation queue which were then approved. Not all users are moderated and old user accounts may be moderated too. Once you have 5 approved posts any new posts will skip moderation and be shown automatically. Time isn't a factor.
