OMG! Kill the white backgrounds! ;) People are blind to ads - you've got to blend them with your content.

Try a 336x280 large rectangle between the title and the text and make the background the same color as your page background and the links the same as your text.

That should help enormously, but I'd check your traffic too.

    Good luck.

You're not earning much because your ads are not optimized.
Don't have a white background, have the same background on the ads as your website has.
Also, change the ad links to a brighter blue color.
I have written some more tips on how to make money with adsense if you want to read.

Thanks for the tips. I have been having trouble on how to get all the colors to blend with my theme. I haven't received a response yet after I asked the theme's creator.

Try to rotate your ads as well, maybe there's some ad blindness? Happened to me as well.

Your site look neat, but if you want to increase your revenue with adsense, you need to make your site more uglier meaning you will need to put up a lot more ad on your site.
    1. use 728 X 15 ad on your header
    2. use 160 X 600 on side bar. If you can get your side bar to the left side instead of on the right, it will increase your click through rate significantly.
    3. use 160 X 600 ad right below the title but above the content instead of on the left side of your content.
    4. The background color of your ad should match your site background, and the border should not be white, it should be the background color.

Thanks for the replies. I want to change the sidebar color but am having trouble how. I also am trying to find a way to add a leaderboard to the top of my theme as the plugin I use doesn't do it. Again thanks everyone for all your help. I have learned so much in the last 6 months but I realize I need to learn a lot more.

i think first of you should have a back ground of simple color so that you could match the back ground of ad with the back ground of the site..
Profesionals always recomend white back ground as it is easy to use
