CPanel DNS question

I have parked a few domains ontop of my main parked domain.
Thing is some of these domains had subdomains like forum.domain2.com

If I edit the DNS Zone file for domain1.com where they are parked and add a * A record will this work for all the parked domains? Will it break CPanel in any way?

 

all A records should have an IP address

 

Yes it would have an IP.. instead of adding like bah 123.123.123.123 it would be * 123.123.123.123
