Hi. I have a starter e-commerce site up for sale.

The site promotes eBay auction listings via eBay's affiliate program (the eBay Partner Network) and commissions are paid out by eBay for any sales or traffic the website drives to them. The eBay listings are updated automatically via the eBay RSS feed, with the site mostly running on auto-pilot.

The website uses a modified version of the free open-source McJiffy EPN ecommerce site script.

The site is theme-able and customizable. The website owner can add their own customized pages to the site, and set the main page to show a custom page or another auction page. The admin interface is fairly simple, and mostly just involves changing a file.

Instructions are supplied for customizing and setting up the site, along with all the other information the website owner will need to know.

I've done some basic backlink building for this website, but it is not yet receiving any significant revenue or traffic. It also does not yet have any Pagerank. It should pick up both traffic and revenue over time, though.

The domain is registered at Godaddy.com and can be changed over to another Godaddy account there for free.

Installation of the site is not difficult, however I can set-up the site for the new owner if needed. The new owner will need their own Linux or Unix based web-hosting account, which should support general features such as htaccess and cURL.

 

You say you've "done some basic backlink building"; how many links?

 

The site was submitted to around 300 search engines and directories, and was also submitted to several hundred domain appraisal, etc sites that create a permanent web page with a link. How many backlinks will result from that I'm not yet sure.

 

It's a brand spanking new website. An appraisal site is not going to tell you anything.
