I am looking for a programmer who is familiar with Store Front and asp. My current one doesn't seem to be able to get the job done any more. At this time I am trying to allow people to purchase multiple quantities of multiple products on one page. You can find an exact example of what I am trying to do at

    http://www.ventingpipe.com/display.cfm?M=Simpson&T=Class+A+Chimney+Pipe&A=Dura-Tech&S=7&x=63&y=11

If anyone is interested in working on this or if you have any reccomendations please let me know. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have worked with storefront in the past, but it's been awhile. A hosting company I used to be the sys admin for offered SF to it's client base. I also work with ASP, might be able to help you out. Which version of SF is it?

That's a nice looking site. I've been doing asp and e-commerce since '96. That's a very nice looking interface. I'm going to have to look into SF for one of my own projects.

I think the site he's linking to is an example of what he's wanting to have storefront do, not his actual site. Could be wrong, but that's the impression i got. The site he linked to is cfm, and storefront is asp.

honestly, we ended up phasing out our storefront sites in lieu of custom in-house programming. While the FP integration and automation was nice, we found the lack of features prohibitive, and the support cumbersome. Seems many of the clients we sold it to had specific needs like jc_44 is asking for, and the out-of-the-box customization options didn't cover real-world application of the product... and storefront is very picky about hacking in to the user gui.

i think the corporate page for storefront is just storefront.net if you want to check it out further, perhaps they've improved it in recent versions... we stopped selling it about 3 years ago.

looks like there are alot of unique, one-of-a-kind custom categorical pages. i know that the /search_results.asp?xxx pages are drawing directly from the db, but what about the different display type pages, like /mosquito-trap-accessories.asp or /lighting-decor.asp? are those custom-made pages? are they building the product list by query, or are they hard-coded? Also, there are alot of /rsearch_xxx.asp types of pages, i do assume this is drawing from the db...

What DB are you using? how many pages are you needing modified? What is your budget/timeframe?
