Yahoo UK rankings

Hello,

Does anyone have any tips in getting listed in yahoos uk results?

I have a .co.uk domain and I got the hosting in the UK.

The site is listed in yahoo.com but not yahoo.co.uk.

Any advice would be appreciated.

PS: I don't want to pay 200 pounds just to get them to consider listing the site.

If Yahoo uk is anything like the other SE's, and you have links to the page/site, just wait and your site will be indexed/visited in due time.

Are you talking about the directory, or Yahoo Search?

All my sites are getting spidered by yahoo! slurp spider, as was posted above, you have to have a reason for it to spider you for free, and that reason is incoming links, plain and simple.

Thanks for the replies,

I was talking about the results not the directory.

I do have few links going to the site but their all from .com domains. Would it be better to get links from .co.uk sites or just keep getting all kinds of links?

I've not had a problem getting my .co.uk domains listed in Yahoo UK and I didn't pay the express submission fee

Have you tried registering your sitemaps with Yahoo Site Explorer? This can only help to speed up your indexing.

Good luck
