Contest $60 - Header Image, Banner (468x60), Favicon (Deadline 01 APR 2011)

Ok, as the title says, I need a Header Image, Banner (468x60) and a Favicon for my forum (www.usmilitarylife.com) I'm working on. I've got a small temporary header image there at the moment as you can see if you visit my site (closed atm, however). I would like the same size (180x46) image as what's there, maybe a little bigger, which also reads "U.S. Military Life (top) Not just for the military (under that)" OR just leave it as "U.S. Military Life" I'll leave that to your imagination and what you can come up with for me. My forum is not just for military personnel or those who may join the military or are prior military (like myself), but for anyone that would like to join.

I'll give this 2 weeks to see what kind of images get submitted and will pick the one I like best on 01 APR 2011, I would also like to receive the .psd's after payment.

Payment will be made by PayPal.

Update: Going to be using styles similar to this one. I've got several different background images that I'll be using with this style. (Images attached)

 

Is the 468x60 going to be used as an advertisement? If so was there any other text youd like on it?? I can add animation...Feedback appreciated!

Since you did not mention what text you required on the banner I have just just dummy text which can be changed. Also the colors can be changed if you like the concept.

brainsurgeon: the banner is awesome as far as the background and the text, but not really a fan of the image on the left.

Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure if you want an image in front of the text for the logo or just plain text? I can give a just text version of the logo if that's what you want?
