What hapend on 15 of feb on google ?

Hi every one .

Just want to confirm did 15 of feb some thing hapend on google?
we were checking our google webmasters account and reports shows till 15 of feb 2011 .One of our website is getting 30,000 keyword impression every single day But at a sadden it goes to 900.

Also while checking our other websites and our clients google webmasters account we have seen same changes .

Does your Google webmaster accounts also have some kind of change on 15 feb ?

Does that day google made some changes in their services etc ?

Please share .

I can confirm this.

On 15 feb. one of my websites, ranked on first page for several keywords, suddenly dissapeared to nowhere, but came back 48 hours later.

 

May be some google dance or algo change

 

I have the same in WMT's (See pic), but the traffic from Google and other sources has remained consistent.
It may just be a reporting bug in WMT's. If so, then it should correct itself. (No need to panic)

I've had this as well, I tend to think it's an issue with GWT since the data in Analytics is perfectly normal.

 

Google webmaster tools is a pretty useless tool. frequently its messed and up and shows bad data. I rarely use it.

 

I not found any changes in my webmaster tool on 15feb. Some time google webmaster tool creating problem for accessing the right information.

 

I have experienced some similar ups and downs in ranks. Google Webmaster Tools data seem to be fluctuating sometimes, may be due to their data centers updates or something. If your real ranks have remained untouched there really is no need to worry as so many people are not even using the Tools.

Google offers verified domains admins some useful and general data about the sites they are moderating but the numbers, ranks or stats, especially on a daily basis might not seem that accurate you know.

 

Mine bounced around a bit, slight drops, but it seems alrightish now.

I don't think you need to worry there may be report bug. I hope the next day you have got clicks as previous better condition

I didn't find any changes at all but if there was any change to websites then i think its google dance.

 

I have also found the same. All rankings are down and webmaster tools is showing same stats like you. May be something big is going on.

Nothing has changed here.

 

There may be some technical error in google webmasters for some time. You can re-check it now it should return to normal.
