I'm looking for a user management system that does the following: *allows new users to sign up *once they have signed up, they log into a "members only area" where they will be "pending members" until they proceed to fill out and submit and application to be writers for the site *the members only area contains: 1) message boards 2) FAQ and documentation 3) ability for members to send messages to each other 4) fully customizable templates to blend with my site 5) ability for me to send an email to all members in the database 6) polls 7) all of this must be private and not available to search engines Is there anything out there that can do these things or do I need to hire someone to create it for me? If so, is anyone here capable of putting this together and interested in work?

hi- are you talking about a pay site or what kind of membership? This would help narrow it down for me to sugest something. Just about any cms will do what your asking so far.
