I am happy to announce you that I have succesfully made a script for

What is going to be worlds largest directory

    www.bigoole.com

Search for a sample keyword "Search Engine"

This is a greatly different directory from others Here the listings will be categorized according to keywords In a ordinary directory you should click on Internet->Free web hosting to see websites in the category but Free web hosting

But here you should simply type the keyword "Freewebhosting" in the Search Box and Press Search to browse the listings under Freewebhosting and also a webmaster will be allowed to submit their sites for three different categories or keywords

and also Editors are wanted for each keyword

Each editor will be given a free featured listing for their website as a sitewide links or top listings for a YEAR for the keyword of their choice

and also those who want to be editors just post here or

    forums.bigoole.com

The directory will be on test run for a period of 15 days from now

    Good luck with the directory...

As u said there is editor needed for each keywords there are thousands or lakhs of keywords, so u think there is necessity of those many editors?

or my view, an editor may have right to apply for 3 - 5 keywords :)

yes I think Editor may apply for a maximum of 5 keywords and a minumum of 1 keyword

but they have to login separately for each keyword

and also webmasters can start submitting their websites

    editors apply at forums.bigoole.com

at editors category with full details about the keywords they can edit

at my forums you can login directly and there is no need to wait for activation link

and also you can search it now itself

    Search for "directory"

your site www.nobledirectory.com will be listed first

    A few teething problems.

Just submitted one and afterwards you come to a screen which says "you link has been added" but no link to return to the directory, autorefresh etc.

Plus when I then search my link hasn't actually been "added".

How do you plan to give link benefits to sites? For instance if I wanted to say to someone - look at my site at this directory, how would I direct them there from the homepage?

edit: perhaps there's a delay, I can see them now. Any chance of having that form as a get and not a post? It works for both btw: http://www.bigoole.com/search.php?keyword=property

Directory runs on keywords and not categories as he said...
Each keyword acts as a seperate category!

because its just like a search engine you can type whatever keyword you want at the search box at the top and get the results

editors post here itself as I have reports of activation email not reaching them

those who wish to be editors post here the keywords for which they have to be editors

for example if one wishes to be a editor for keyword "web directory"

    just post your name :
    keyword:

we will approve it and send a PM or email to you

Also this is a tes period so feel free to discuss hiw th revenue can be generated and hiw it can be shared

will there be a difference between "directory" and "web directory"? Will you use like or =

Personally I reckon you should allow a larger number of keywords and accept them comma delimited and just parse them out.

Hi Freewebspace. I have got one or two questions:

How are you planning on getting the directory indexed in all the major search engines?

If you have millions of keywords (okay, hundreds of thousands then..) how do you plan on linking all those pages? Or are you not concerned about indexing at all?
