Ive noticed when obtaining affiliate text links through CJ's get links admin area, alot of the time CJ includes img code next to the anchor code. Is it necessary to include this additional code? By just using the anchor code, that is, something like: <a href="http://www.cjurl.com/click-1234567-1234567" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.domain.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">Click Here</a> The link above will direct you to the correct destination page, without the extra img code, but are you still getting the commissions? It's a little problematic adding the img code as it causes additional whitespace when using the text links in normal paragraphs. I appreciate any input. Cheers
If you want to track the ad impressions, you'll need the image link. Otherwise there shouldn't be any problem omitting it.
Cool dude thanks. Ive just been thinking about it though, its just a matter of adjusting the width/height properties of the img to prevent the whitespace.
I've never used the image tags and have never had a problem. Could care less about impressions, I track my own site usage.
