    Hmm, let's get things started.

Why do I care? I can't come up with a good reason. There's a lot of info here.

Let's see though, if I can guess your objective. Boo US, yay Iran? Sound about right? Knock yourself out!

Just remember to put proper spacing between the self-loathing and defeatism, k?

Gtech did i not ask for opinions? I didnt ask if you cared. If you dont know anything and are ignorant then why post any answer. Instead of posting a link to that page how about giving us a valid opinion beyond your usual one line answers about the most important democratic leader in iran that we helped take out. Gtech your a cute little kid but lets get serious huh loooooooooooool

Flag waving is for idiots, i prefer to keep my mind focused on freedom or democracy which can be lost if we just wave our flags like morons and ignore what is going on around us.

You really don't read well do you?

I doubt you've ever held a flag, let alone waved it.

Did I guess you objective? From your second post, it seems like I did.

    Carry on.

Infonote, this is exactly what i wanted someone to find. I guess gtech doesnt have the ability to read and research the truth yet but one day im confident he will:) lol
Only day i would ever ever think to raise raise a flag(if ever) was at the end of ww2(the last noble war, if war could ever be called noble). My uncles served in thatw ar and they died for freedom. every post ww2 war has not been for freedom but for special interest.

Flags waving is for morons, i love the human race. Did you wave your flag gtech for the time we helped take out mossadegh and effectively destroy freedom and democracy in iran forever? You may try to point out minor errors in the facts that are presented to you but people here are seeing the big picture. Now if you dont mind gtech u may now argue with one of the greatest minds of all time einstein who wrote

"The really valuable thing in the pageant of human life seems to me not the State but the creative, sentient individual, the personality; it alone creates the noble and the sublime, while the herd as such remains dull in thought and dull in feeling.
This topic brings me to that worst outcrop of the herd nature, the military system, which I abhor. That a man can take pleasure in marching in formation to the strains of a band is enough to make me despise him. He has only been given his big brain by mistake; a backbone was all he needed. This plague-spot of civilisation ought to be abolished with all possible speed. Heroism by order, senseless violence, and all the pestilent nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism — how I hate them! War seems to me a mean, contemptible thing: I would rather be hacked in pieces than take part in such an abominable business. "

Gtech do a flag wave for me again, how does it go? RAH RAH RAH sis boom ba loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

what i loved so much about albert einstein was that he was a human being first and an intellectual second, and that says alot about his humanity since he was a great intellect:). I seriously doubt gtech will even have a word to rebut anymore lol

Then there was Iran. Nobody ever talks about Iran pre-Ayatollah these days but it is a fascinating topic. From about 1900 to 1951 Iran's government went through a lot of termoil. The old fuedal system was under a lot of pressure to democratize. There was lots of wins and losses on both sides but the result was that the Democratic forces won in 1951, Electing Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh as Prime Minister. Time Magazine even had him as Man of the Year in 1951. Yes, Iran had a democratic government.

Mohammad Mossadegh had a vision for Iran - he wanted it to be a middle-eastern version of the USA. He was pro-democracy, pro-USA, and started working towards developing Iran as a self-sufficient westernized industrial economy.

In 1953 the USA backed a coup by the Shah and toppled the democratic government, handing power back to the dictator. The USA did not like the idea that Iran would be independant (even if a friendly ally). It didn't like the idea of iran processing its own oil, producing the plastics, fuels, and other products. It wanted the crude so IT could do all the value added stuff - keeping Iran dependant on the USA.

The Iranian people have never forgotten this and it was/is a major factor in Iranian hostility toward the USA. When the Shah was deposed the Iranian people viewed it as toppling the USA's control over Iran.

The rest of the middle east wasn't living in a vacuum, they all saw this too.

Gtech is a former corporal. Military traditions forbids the corporals to think or know anything. They just need to believe that they know everything and the army will not survive without them. :D

The way you bash troops and America, it doesn't surprise me you would offer such. Don't you have a terrorist's ass to be kissing somewhere?

That would make you a generation older than I am. Given the lack of quality and general representation as a 14 year old, just not possible. Besides, even if it were true, I'm sure your uncles would smack you about for some of the crap you spout here.

The only thing GTech cares about is Halliburton and Exxon and the Nixon gang staying in power, he does not even care for America or the citizens of the world, to him they are just idiots and pawns to be used and fooled so his Republican losers can steal money and power as they stole two Presidential elections.

I was banned before the mid term election results, so I did not get a chance to laugh at the Nixon gang on this forum, but how sweet it is for all American citizens and our troops who were sold out by the cowards in the White House for oil money!

Gtech are u sure u dont have any shrapnels in there. Good god man when did i bash our military. You are way to zoned into taking orders to think for urself and my uncles were in the military , it just happens that the military he served in was part of a real war, not this trumped up war. I speak up because i want the soldiers home and not overseas fighting some nonsense war for the oil and control of the elite. My goddddddddddddd, someone pass the guy a mind of his own and no my uncles would never be spanking me for speaking out against something this wrong. They would spank me if i didnt speak out. My uncle ernie has 3 purple hearts and was one of the most couragous men i knowand most of all he knows my heart and what it stands for. WE are not robots who blindlessly and mindlessly follow orders, but my uncle (god rest his soul) was a ladies man lol, the guy had a 31 year old gf at age 77 heheheh
