AdSense CPM ads... minimum CPM?

    I'm wondering what the minimum CPM is for AdSense CPM ads? I have an Adwords account and just tried adding my own site and it won't let me add anything under $2.00 for CPM. In the example for targeting sites with a specific CPM, it lists $1.25 as an example so I assume the minimum would be lower than $1.25?

    Why is the CPM for my site set at $2.00?

    I think it's $2.00 for all sites.

    The publisher will always come out on top when you display CPM ads...

    They will only be shown on the site if the CTR on normal ads is poor. (According to our Google rep)

    £1.00 here. I tried it (as an AW advertiser) but didn't like it. Because it's sidewide you end up paying for lots and lots of useless impressions. Budget flies out of the window literally. For me, it's even worse than content ads.

    And it's brilliant for the AdSense publisher. Earnings on my blog have tripled since I got 0 clicks but still money for CPM.

    Everyone is talking of CPM ads ..I basically don't know how to add CPM ads to our site ..Is it just an image ads ? Is anyone allowed to add image ads on their site ??
