    Hello:
    I need a re-design of a logo for the front page of budgetit.ca

    Total Prize
    $30 paid by Paypal
    Contest Ends: Monday 24 January at midnight PST

    Text
    The logo needs to include the text: budgetit.ca
    There are three elements in the text:
    budget
    IT
    .ca
    and these can be individually identified with distinct colors or text size or font or in any other way, or not individually identified, as you think best.

    Graphic
    The logo should have an additional graphic element either as a background to the text or to the side or above or below. The graphic must refer to our base in Canada; perhaps all or part of the Canadian flag??
    Our existing logo has a very simple graphic, two yellow stars on each side of the text. We do not want the stars to be included in the new design.

    Size
    The logo should be 50%-150% of the current size.

    Format
    Vector format: EPS or SVG file

    Thanks for all the submissions. Some very creative ideas. Much appreciated.
    My favorite so far is misterbadz, post #4 above: would even be better if you removed the $ sign from the flag.
    Also really like danJaye's entry, #11 right above, with the flag behind the IT. But the black text is a little too clunky. A little more mellow font and slightly smaller flag might do the trick.
