What does AdSense stats count?

    I just got my AdSense code up and running on my website. What does AdSense count towards my CTR. If I use a program like XENU Link Sleuth which goes on every page is it going to register as an impression?

    Are you talking about programs that spider your page? Unless they actually download the external JavaScript from Google for the AdSense, it wouldn't count as an impression.

    Even if the crawler downloaded its code, Google probably has an agent Filter which only returns ads if the agent is a valid browser.
