I'm looking for someone to code me a flash (not Java) application that will ultimately convert a FLV video from video to audio only in MP3 form. This must be done entirely on the client side (probably best to pretend my server doesn't have PHP/MySQL). I'm only willing to give this small bit of information out as I want to protect my idea as much as possible. I need someone that is not from India to do this. So looking for someone from the UK, US, Canada, France, Spain, Germany etc. I've had too many bad experiences with Indians and I cannot be bothered with the hassle. Hi, Just so you know, it is impossible to do this in flash (all client-side) as it has strict cross-domain policies. It is possible in Java because cross-domain policies do not apply on un-verified code (free test signatures last six-months) I have tried this and researched it so I hope this info helps :]
Yeah, I'll have to agree with Bzy, it's not possible, unless you're referring to the "client-side" as in its software they download and run like a desktop application? Are you interested in that or something that's more web based?
