    While i am doing keyword research on market samurai accidentally I saw great picture. take a look on below image.

    Keyword = computer tech support

    DA= domain age
    IC = indexed pages
    BLP = backlinks to page
    BLD = backlink to domain
    Bleg = .Gov .Edu links

    [IMG]

    Case study

    Look on 8th domain it has only around 60 backlinks while others have thousands of backlinks. 8th domain is computertechsupportmd[.]com.

    If keyword in the URL, google will give you a bonus and it will equal to thousonds of backlinks. When you arer planing to make a site tightly plan your on site factors then you have to do less off site works.

    In the internet 90% sites aren't best in the onsite SEO so if you are smart you can beat your competitors without breaking ice.

    If your doing you can target so many mini site with this strategy you can earn from adsense.

    You say:
    "If keyword in the URL, google will give you a bonus and it will equal to thousonds of backlinks. "

    So by that you mean that for every keyword that exists Google will give you a bonus?
    That means that every site will get a bonus and then the conclusion is that there is no bonus.
    Since all words and non words can work as keywords.

    Sorry for my stupid post above, I was sooo tired when I posted that. :)
    I get what you meant now, a keyword in the domain name equals a lot of backlinks for that specific keyword only.

    True that is what i mean. Becasue every competitor don't use keyword in the domain. Keep in mind main keyword in the domain and other keywords in the permalinks.

    Well. I think content, credibility and usability (as in usefulness of your product, service or info) far outweigh any domain name if you are thinking big. I mean, if you are going with a trend or blogging about something one day and another the next, than by all means it matters. But if you are in it for the long hull; if you have a site that you plan on making a career of or whatever, then it doesn't matter because in the end, everyone will be looking to you as the authority. Case in points: Big: Monster.com Small. DoshDosh.com

    It is basic SEO and remember, it doesn't "work" all of the time. Those 59/60 backlinks may be coming from PR8 sites

    From all these above discussions one thing is clear that if domain name contains keyword it is good for website ranking as well as for traffic also.

    I do agree that if keyword appears in domain name then it will definitely help in ranking and also in traffic. So it is good to have keyword in domain name.
