Rules Rep question

    I would like to know how many rep points must a member have so that when he gives a rep it counts as green. 2 out of 3 reps i have go gray. So is it quite high number. Please tell.

    As I remember 0-99 rep points = 1 rep bar, 100-199 rep points = 2 rep bars. Once you reach five rep bars, each rep bar represents 200 rep points.

    I mean what is the numeber of reps i must havce do that when i give you a rep it counts as green and not gray.

    I have more than a few cobwebs in my rep memory. I think you have to have at least five rep bars to give someone green in general chat and possibly politics and religion.

    By the way, I would not bet the farm on this answer.

    Totally variable based on the forum you give rep within. Less important forum areas give less rep.

    If someone is giving me rep in the BST area, then what must be his/her reputation points so that it counts as green and not gray.

    As I said, it's variable, and I don't look at rep, so I certainly don't know the formula off the top of my head.
