Everyone has heard of the conflict in Palestine and Kashmir, but few get to hear about the war happening inside Pakistan's province of Baluchistan. Why? Because of systematic violence and abductions against these people by the Pakistan army.

    Some background on this conflict:

    From Wikipedia -
    Current news

ISLAMABAD: Rights group Amnesty International called on Pakistan Tuesday to investigate the alleged torture and killing of more than 40 political leaders and activists in Balochistan.

Amnesty said the cases have occurred in the last four months against a backdrop of increasing political unrest and Pakistani military activities in the southwestern province which borders Iran and Afghanistan.

Violence has surged this year in Balochistan and human rights activists have raised concerns about an increase in targeted killings in the province.

“The Pakistani government must act immediately to provide justice for the growing list of atrocities in Balochistan,” said Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s Asia Pacific director.

“Baloch political leaders and activists are clearly being targeted and the government must do much more to end this alarming trend.”

Amnesty warned that bullet-ridden bodies of those who have been abducted, many showing signs of torture, are increasingly being found across Balochistan whereas previously bodies of the missing were rarely recovered. Victims’ relatives and activists often hold Pakistan’s security forces and intelligence agencies responsible.

“The Pakistani government must show that it can and will investigate the Pakistani military and Frontier Corps, as well as intelligence agencies, who are widely accused of playing a role in these incidents,” said Zarifi.

The Pakistani government tries to claim that the separatists in Balochistan are Taliban, and aid which the United States sends the Pakistani government to defend the people of Pakistan against the Taliban ends up being used to kill the Balochistani's instead. It's a real nightmare.

It seems that the Pakistan Government is the smartest in the world. Blackmail the US for aid, use that aid for own problems, demand more aid saying the army is ill-equipped to battle the Taliban; get that aid and then take a few cosmetic measures against Taliban, stop and say that they can't go any further because the army is already overstretched and cannot remove soldiers from the eastern border due to"Indian threat". US increases drone attacks due to Paki non-cooperation; Pakistan cries sovereignty, blocks and burns NATO tankers and says militants did it. US apologizes, announces $2billion further aid to Pakistan army. Vicious circle :/
