How my AdSense earnings went doubled after using AdSense Premium custom format

I just want to share a happy news to you fellas as I've been following this lovely forum for a couple of years now and I know lots of new bloggers/webmasters join in every single day

I was asked to join a partnership with TechMediaNetwork and as a result, I was allowed to use Google AdSense Premium ad formats on my blog. These AdSense formats are different than the ones we have normally access to. You can normally get these AdSense customizations if you have a few million visitors on your blog/site. If you join a partnership with them, you can use these ads without the requirements. The catch is you have to split the earnings with them but the amount is decided based on your earnings history and a figure that you both are happy with.

    Here is an example:

Ever since I use the new format, my adsense went doubled and it also looks more professional as you might have agree based on my screenshot :)

Their selection for partnership is a bit tight but it doesn't hurt to try and ask them, right? My manager contact detail is on my post if you want to try and ask her for more info. Let her know that I send you to her and she'll hook you up

As always, you can check my post on this partnership or look at how good the ads look on my blog yourself at CravingTech.com, live.

Although that "giving some money back to them" may sound bad, it is not. I actually earn more than I normally earnt and the site looks better too compared to using 336x280 or 300x250 as you may all do :D

Wow this ad looks amazing, I bet 99% don't even know it's an Ad. At first I was searching for it heh.

So we can become a premium member if we get million+ pageviews/visitors? every month and then get in for free? We somehow apply at Google or we must get this through another site that already has it. Sorry for a silly question, I found about this premium thing a few days ago.

Does anybody know, what is the AdSense PV minimum level, if we would like to be included in Premium members too?

You must have at least 15 million views per month from US only to be a partner of them. Useless, for majority !

That looks like a normal product of a site and not safe an ads. But is this system safe to use in our adsense?

You got your premium, you got your earnings doubled and you gotta split it.
Whoa, your earnings really are doubled. Or is it?

As I said on my post, you DON'T HAVE to be a Premium publisher to join the network. I don't, I only have 3000 visitors per month. Which is the point of the post :) If you contact Shannon at TechMediaNetwork, she can hook you up. So you use their AdSense ads instead of your own and revenue is shared. Of course, you'll need to have a good site/traffic and not just 10 visitors a day or something to be accepted :) Best is to just email her and ask so she can evaluate your blog/site

Yup - if you check my traffic/income statistics, you'll see that the for past 2 months, I earnt around $350 compared to $160-ish from AdSense after use the new formats

Sounds interesting. Do they accept non tech sites? Did your CTR improve? And can you leave at any time?

Why not give everyone better ad formats??

I have removed adsense because of the poor performance of the standard ad units, is just doesn't make sense why the average person with a good quality website has the standard low ctr ad units.

Hmm.. I should have asked her about non-tech sites as she didn't mention it to me. Maybe just email her and ask about it? Doesn't hurt and yes you can leave anytime. I told her before I joined that I just wanted to test for a week or a month. It's been 3 months now and I've been getting about $10 a day compared to $2-4 a day

Michael are you still a member of the network?? If yes, are your results still consistent with what you noted in your last post?

So you do. Thanks for the swift reply. You mentioned only needing 3k visitors per month but your statistics page on your blog shows you had many more visitors for Oct 2010. Have I misunderstood?

Hm? If you looked at my Oct 2010 stat: http://www.cravingtech.com/october-2010-traffic-and-income-statistics.html, it showed 90,000 visitors/month so it's about 3000 a day, as I mentioned earlier on this thread :)
