hello friends i have a question in my mind, and want to clear this. may be you think it is a stupid question, but i want to know the answer. what is the normal ctr for every cpc ad network? or how much ctr should be considered as maximum?
it's hard to tell that , it depends on ad location on your site , and ad type and size and what ad network you are using , contextual or banner ads and your site content there is no fixed ctr for ad networks
It varies widely and many factors are involved. The highest i know of on huge volume is 82% and typically you need to stay below 30%. Some networks consider anything over 10% a red flag to check out. And on the other end of the spectrum i know of one network that will ban you for less than a 1% ctr. When it comes to really large websites, most people would be surprised how ctr often is. Half of one percent is considered good by many and some have one tenth of one percent. Many, many variables.
agreed you cannot specify the "average of CTR, CPC" every ad network it's just different from admob, adsense, mobgold, etc.
From my experience over years the usual CTR for most websites is about 1% . But advertising networks accept CTR for websites up to 10% and it can be different for them. But if we think logic, CTR is usually should be less than 5% for most websites.
there's really no standard in CTR really... it all depends on the targeting even though ultimately, you will want your CTR as high as possible right?
