its a nice addition to webmaster tools i must say

 

I think the changes are awesome, it groups together links from the same domain so its a lot easier to sort through links

 

It's a good to observe for our site.

 

I don't see it yet, is it the same on blogger's stats? Blogger stats is pretty good on traffic reporting, if GWT has the same concept, it's a good new feature!

But it shows about 3000 links on my subpage and I cannot find this links

I agree, it is a great new tool. This is probably why the page rank has taken so long.

 

The more information you give Google, the more they can control what you do. They give you little snippets of scraps back to keep you quiet. The snippets generally look useful, but in practise, are designed to be useless,and to help you waste your time, rather than work out how to 'game' Big G. Clever strategy, really.

I like the feature of new google webmaster tool, we can easily measure change of impression, click and ctr from it.

 

I don't really like it.

Sure it shows more clearly which websites/domains are giving your site the most links, but it has taken away the overview number: How many incoming links does your site have in total? I can now only see the top 1000 websites/domains that I'm getting links from. I added them all up and I have 4000 links less than I did last time I checked! That means that I have links coming from more than these top 1000 websites, and I want that total number.

Any suggestions (recommend other tools if necessary) on how I can get this total backlinks number now?

 

Very nice improvement. It's similar to data we could collect from Opensiteexplorer so now we can compare that 2 and get more results.

it doesnt show total link count in the main page, strange...

 

I think that it indicate a big change of SEO.
Sitewide link is not that important as before, since google will probably regard it as one backlink
