Nice share BRUm, I've read that to date the US goverment has spent $2 trillion on trying to fight the war on drugs and there still no where near winning, you can't win. All america is doing is driving up the price of drugs and it's demand, there not helping anyone but the drug cartels that can now demand even higher prices for coke.

Exactly Seqqa. It's a shame not many people share your opinion as they're blinded by the supposed "evil" behind drugs and so support throwing money at the drug war despite all common sense and logic pointing to ending the prohibition.

Good post Brum. If we legalized drugs, it would bring an end to the gigantic income streams of the traffickers and the many businesses(like Wachovia) that depend on them. I can imagine the Kennedy family was pretty pissed off the day prohibition ended, though they were most definitely set for life by then.

California has already decriminalized pot posession and will likely make it completely legal this November. One of the biggest lobbies opposing the legislation: Businesses associated with Alcohol sales.
