I recently got a domain. I made search engine optimization of it. It was not giving good search engine ranking. But later I came to know that it is dropped domain two time. Can this drop domain affect my seo. Now My site is about pharmaceutical store. Can anyone tell me how to get past history of the domain. If anybody knows about it then please your reply to me.

Dropped domain is not affected SEO at all.

I too have several dropped domain that perform well than brand new domain.

Many newbies webmaster don't know the hidden value of dropped domain that why they only earn penny by using new domain.

You can use internet way back machine to see your dropped domain in the past.

mentos, it really depends what the doamin was used for in the past. If it was a blacklisted domain, then the new owner might find it very difficult to gain back the SE rankings. pharmaceutical store's are notorious for spammy sites, thus, this may be the case.

how to know whether it is a dropped domain or not. My site is pharmaceutical site. Suppose you think that the dropped domain is from fashion industry. My site is now pharmaceutical site. If that seo was done in fashion point of view, will it affect my pharmaceutical site's seo?
