Blue Triangle on Google Instant Results

Anyone notice the blue triangle on the first result of Google? It's a bullet point on the left of the first results. Has this always been there? I'm thinking its a way to visually entice people to click the first result.

What do you think?

 

Oh, I figured this out to be a new keyboard navigation feature. Derp...

 

The blue triangle is meant to be for keyboard navigation. I think its the dumbest thing since its much faster with a mouse.

Heh, well you gotta think for the people that don't seem to have a mouse, but then again, who doesn't have a mouse

its easy for navigating using the keyborad , but i always have my fingers on the mouse

 

I jsut seen that thing today, wondered what it was. Who needs kb shortcuts, anyways? I thought those were outdated...
