Yes, it's possible for a select few people to blog for a living! "But how?" You ask. What's the best way to approach this and what should we "not" do? It's definitely not easy to make money online by blogging for a living. You will need a lot of determination, self-discipline and patience. Most successful bloggers today never did that well in their first year or two. Let's cut to the chase and begin with some simple tips:

1. Don't blog about something in an "over-saturated" market. You will be wasting your time.

2. Pick a topic you are passionate about, so you will not tire of your blog over the long haul.

3. Write articles regularly - set a schedule and stick to it. Once a week? Once a day? Whatever you decide, be realistic about your schedule and your goals. The more often you write, the faster you will succeed - but keep in mind nothing is going to happen overnight. A lot of successful bloggers publish their articles on a fixed schedule - for example - every Monday, or every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, etc.

4. Have more than one blog. Everyone has more than one interest - why have only one blog? On this note, do not go crazy and have ten blogs... it is far better to have two very well written and thought out blogs rather than have five blogs that are filled with gibberish.

5. Make your articles interesting. No one wants to read boring news or articles.

6. Do not blog about your own life. Your friends may be interested in your daily happenings, but you will not be able to attract a large number of readers.

7. Do not regurgitate information from another source. There are many copy-cat bloggers out there who just do not succeed. You have to be original and creative in your writing in order to stand out from your competition.

8. Promote your blog.

it's not really easy to earn for a living .but if you love wha you do and you have a goal. anything is quite possible.

 

Just try to make money with your blog, don't to much focus only for the blog.

Find something you are really interested in so you wont tire blogging.
Put out some real good content..
then PROMOTE.. so u get traffic and u can earn from your blog.

Don't agree with the select few part. Anyone can do a good job living by blogging as long as he or she works hard and eager to learn. Don't give up so easily and keep on learning from the mistakes and errors.
