HUGE 5,500 visitor/day proxy for sale ~ established site

5,552 visitors so far today and still 3 hours left to go. This is an EXTREMELY popular proxy. I have not paid for any advertising or done any promotions, this is 100% natural traffic. 60% of traffic is from bookmarks on people browsers. With loyal repeat customers.

A 300 visitor/day proxy goes for about $300-$450. A 800-1,000 proxy is usually listed for about $800. (on digitalpoint. These are proxies that I have seen and even bought.)

Well, with 5,500+ visitors/day you can only imagine how much this proxy is worth and how much you can make off of it with ads. Personally I make $5-$10/day with a proxy that only has 200 visitors/day.

Sorry but dont have any google ads on site to show revenue. I am involved in a much bigger marketing venture so I've been tied up with it rather than placing ads on this site, lol, plus im not very good at ad placement. I am selling this site to help buy new computers for my employees which we desperately need, as well as new networking equipment.

Serious Questions
Why does a site which has 5,500 unique hits a day with a average of 155,000 - 165,000 visitors only have an alexa ranking of 791, 771?
Why does this picture show it has google ads on it?

A You either edited those stat images or somehow got 5,500 unique visitors?
B A site with 1000 unique visitors has a alexa ranking of 321,000, Which should make your site in the top 100,000 atleast + I know alexa isn't too accurate but alexa is accurate enough to show me you don't get 5,500 unique hits a day, explain yourself.
C Why lie about google ad placement?

 

didnt lie about not putting ads on it. That screenshot is when site had old code running it. I changed alot of features/ mods and just used the same logo.

However I have no clue about alexa ranking. I have another site with 2,000 visitors a day ranked at 2,000,000+ while a site I have with 20 visitors/day had rank of 224,000. I dont know how they rank sites.

Im not trying to decieve anyone at all. I know your only trying to protect potential buyers, I feel the same way. Thanks for the comment though. glad I can clearup any questions.

 

I posted a thread earlier on DP and SP about selling my proxy site wich is getting around 4000-5000 uniques daily and making around 5-15 dollars daily and my starting bidding price was only $120 and a BIN of $800.. How is it posible that you are asking for a starting bid of $800?? I would not like to imagine whats your BIN price!!

Besides the google ad lie.. why lie about having "HUGE 5,500 visitor/day" when you only have around 2500 uniques according to the screen you posted.. And why you even posted that screen when it clearly says that the site is getting around 2500 uniques daily and not 5k like you said the tittle?

 

I dont know what to tell you. Those images ARE NOT edited. I just did a printscreen from awstats. Like I said, from experience Ive had alexa be completely wierd about ranking, those are actually rankings from some of my sites.

If there is someone i can trust to login and check stats I will allow them to and take a screenshot themselves. But please, you really are ruining my thread and Im not trying to cheat anyone.

Also those images are CLEARLY not edited. Im not near that good and they dont even show signs of editing so dont accuse me of it

There is alot of proof that points you to the opposite of truth. btw, you still didn't explain about the google ads, some history? and why you said 5,500 instead of 2,500.

 

I am not saying you edited anything.. I am just saying that those screens you took says that you have around 2500 uniques daily and not 5,500 like you stated in the tittle.

That shows google earnings in that time period. That was with no text on page for google to catch onto so earnings arent what they easily could be. After that date I replace template and entire code, just keeping the logo.

As for Usermaster, I would say, why the heck are you selling a site getting $5-15/day for $120 starting bid... Thats INSANE. You could make that in 12days and that sounds like a scam. Proxies starting bid should be 3 months revenue so in your case about $900.

And you can see that today proxy had 5,552 visitors by 9:10pm

Alot has been cleared up, except the Alexa ranking, Alexa isn't 100% accuarate, but it is accurate enough. sorry for hijacking your thread though.

 

My site is not 3 month old yet.. Thats why i have a BIN of $800.. Its not a scam.. Besides, i have everything to proof that my site gets why I said it gets.. Like Hasumoto said, most things have been cleared up, but you made horrible mistakes...

 

I do apologize, seeing my sale just get flushed because some questions I didnt anticipate got me wound up. I didnt mean to dis your auction either. Honestly your proxy is worth alot more than that though, I have bought several just this month.

For reference alexa isn't reliable. I seem to be blessed by it and have had sites that never had over 100 visits per day maintain an alexa rank of 40,000 for several months.

I site I have now, that gets 50 per day 3 months average is 200,000 and growing, and its daily average is about 40-80 thousand. http://www.lucidly.com

By my calculations from just the 1st 5 days... thats about 56GB bandwidth.


At that rate you'll scream past 300GB a month....let alone if it grows.

 

300gb a month is nothing. Personally I host it on a dedicated server but all you really need is a $3.99/month hosting plan from godaddy or any other place. Like I said 300gb/month is no big deal at all.
