Just got spidered...

Hi, my brand new site just completely spidered over the past two days. I submitted it to Yahoo's free submit with no incoming links, approx. how long does it take before it is even added to the DB?

Thanks!

Congratulations

I read in one of these forums recently that Yahoo was indexing more rapidly that google. Hopefully you will see some action soon.

In my personal experience, Google spidered me within a month of submitting.... it took Yahoo approx. 6 months to start spidering my website.... so in my case Google was A LOT quicker.

Spider keeps coming back now from Yahoo, google doesn't want to visit :-(. Can anyone recommend some place to put my links to get google going? It's a health related help site. Having some trouble getting links for a PR0 right now. Anyone want to throw me a bone ;-).

Hopefully I do well in Yahoo, maybe show up in a few days, Slurp keeps checking and checking.

yeah, i've noticed slurp has been coming by recently. I can't remember the last time yahoo spidered anything I've worked on. I haven't heard anything about a big yahoo update though...

Yeah I just put some links in my sig, that is real generous of Shawn, he is a good guy. Should I be worried about this being considered spam? Should I limit my signature to like 1 time per thread? Any suggestions on that, especially since it may make me go from 0-20 backlinks overnight. I submitted to all free directories I could possibly find.

Anything else I should/could do? Anything I should be worried about in terms of what G might consider SPAM?
