Was this link useful? Yes No Just noticed this. I did a search on google, visited the site, then went back and saw this question with a yes / no button under then link I just visited. New?
i didn't see anything like that when i did a search, clicked a link, and went back to google.. could you take a screenshot of it?
I'd like to see that too. I wonder if certain servers are trying that as a test. Maybe it's not on all?
I have seen it as well- I dont believe that this type of input system can work given that we would all say our link is the best and the rest are not.
True, but google tracks where we go. At times, I see a number of how many times I have been to a link by the link in the serps. They would just discount the vote.
It might have something to do with quality scores, as referenced in this post: http://www.affiliatepro.info/affiliate-arbitrators-watch-out-google-adwords-was-this-link-useful
Is easy, just do a search then click any of the results and after going to the link press the back button of your browser and you will set the Yes or No. I see it anoying!
Ohh Google guys wait for your emails.... "uhh matt wanna delete ebay we just had a complaint about it coming up in google results, we need to keep the searchers happy you know!" Matt: "Right away. Any others?" "Uhhh just one - someone said wikipedia had a article on how to make toilet paper. That was offensive. Better get rid of them" Sorry just had to This is meant as a way to tell google that there is spam. Google isn't going to use it to get rid of your competition.
