Just noticed this. I did a search on google, visited the site, then went back and saw this question with a yes / no button under then link I just visited.

i didn't see anything like that when i did a search, clicked a link, and went back to google.. could you take a screenshot of it?

 

What was the search for? What URL did you visit? Was the question under the description or title?

 

I'd like to see that too. I wonder if certain servers are trying that as a test. Maybe it's not on all?

 

I have seen it as well- I dont believe that this type of input system can work given that we would all say our link is the best and the rest are not.

 

True, but google tracks where we go. At times, I see a number of how many times I have been to a link by the link in the serps. They would just discount the vote.

 

And don't forget the Vote buttons in the google toolbar.

 

I haven't seen this either when I did a search. What do you think google this for?

 

Yeah the 'dissatisfied' button. That is useful. I got a email about that.

Is easy, just do a search then click any of the results and after going to the link press the back button of your browser and you will set the Yes or No.

This is meant as a way to tell google that there is spam. Google isn't going to use it to get rid of your competition.

 

I am not seeing this now. Next time I do, I'll take a snapshot!
