Contest Contest: Duplicate my 125*125 banner to 250*250 - $15 - 3 Days or first correct entry

This contest is going to be a race to see who can produce the desired banner in the shortest time. Rules:

1) The banner must be 250*250 and exactly like the 125*125 (see below) but bigger (I will provide the psd file)
2) All frame content must be resized proportionally - not from the 125*125 but from new screenshots/logo
3) The banner must not be more than 35k
4) The frame timing/animation must be exactly the same
5) I will ask for revisions on each entry until the first one matches my requirement - this one will be the winner and the contest ends. Payment via PayPal immediately upon receipt of final .gif and .psd files. The winner will have the option of doing a 200*200 for an extra $15 (easy money!)

Just to repeat - it is NOT the first entry which wins; it is the first revised entry that matches all the rules above (and posted in order in this thread). For the resizing, I want high quality resizing, which means taking new screenshots of the live product and shrinking it - not resizing the 125*125 banner. You will need copy bits of the screenshot over the blue background from the other frames (you can get these from the psd).

Here you go, I duplicated the banner, But it's size 59 KB Its hard to make it 35 KB as it will be terrible in quality!

 

@technoguy:

Frame 1: The screenshot does not match - I don't want the 2 black boxes on either side of the timer - you can right click on these in the PTM and click on "Hide Box" before you take a screenshot. The green table is terrible quality and you have used a screenshot with a background image - it must be exactly the same as the 125*125 ad. The screenshots must say 20:00 and 19:59 - you will have to start the timer and take a screenshot after a second to get this image.
Frame 3: "Get it now" does not seem to be centered.

The top part seems to be missing a black border like the 125 in Frame 2/3.

The banner is 77k - it needs to be around 35k as per Google Guidelines.

Remember, it has to be IDENTICAL to the 125*125 but resized in order to win (otherwise I would just do it myself if it were so easy

 

@Mr.LeGeNd:

Frame 1: "BLIND TIMER" can be a bit bigger.
Screenshot is terrible quality and not big enough - in the 125 * 125 see how the green table almost touches the side of the box. When it goes to 19:59 the quality is blurred - it looks like you did this manually - you should just take 2 screenshots of the product - one at 20:00 and one at 19:59.
This frame has way too much free space - notice how the 125 fulls the frame - make everything bigger.

Frame 2: "runs on any computer" needs to be spaced better - it's too close together and does not look symmetrical with rest of ad.

Frame 3: Tourney Manager is not spaced out symmetrically vertically. It needs a little more spacing.

Remember - Frame 1 is the most important - I am looking for the best quality screenshots...

 

Yeah agreed, 35k is hard. This is what it looks like in 35k:-

35k for a 250x250 isnt hard. an 800x600 animated banner at 35kb is hard.

 

I beg to differ. Not when one of the frames requires more than 32 colors to render a reasonable amount of visual quality.

@all: Ok, new size requirement is 49k (so under 50k as per Google Guidelines). It can't be more than that and it has too look good.

 

@LushLush: Very good - closest so far - only thing wrong is Frame 1- it looks like you have changed the font of the timer? Did you take screenshots of the app? Can you also space out the words "BLIND TIMER" a little as they are too close together.

Bear in mind that when you take screenshots, the running timer (the one at the bottom will be going up) so it should be on 00:01 when the timer shows 19:59 - are you sure you guys are taking screenshots of the actual product?

 

@technoguy: Very close, but the running timer total must match - it would be on 00:00 when the main timer is on 20:00 and 00:01 when the main timer is on 19:59. Also - the Blinds levels are on level 4 - I need it on Level 1 with the default blinds (and the level timer - the one at the top must match too (ie. 00:00 when it is on 20:00 and 00:01 when it is on 19:59) - when you start the timer on PTM you will see what I mean.

Also - needs to be under 50k now...

 

I am going to bed (it is 11:50 in the morning here) so tomorrow I will process the entries in order of the thread posting. I will then make comments on each for revision. If no one can come up with a < 50 k version I will have to change the background color or something (why is it so large?!). Thanks for your entries.

Ahhh got it. I used the jpg screenshots at the bottom for the UI elements of your app. I found it a bit awkward getting a live screenshot of the 20:00 part so I recreated the timer text to make it look more crisper. The green background is from the jpg screenshot. Got the correct font now and its 49kb :-
