Google Tablet PC seems good as in the provided link. I am waiting for that also, lets see what will be the price for that and would it be available in the Asian market.

Am I the only person in the universe that finds it troubling the idea of giving Google control over not only what I see (through search engine results) but what I use to see it (the software and the hardware)? What's next - Google ISP/browser/hardware/info for total vertical integration - ? I really can't get enthused about Google hardware ... I'm too busy freaking out.

I personally don't think this is good concept. My friend bought iPad and was excited as many others at that time. But not anymore, as you realize it really doesn't make sense from size and price point of view.
I like my smart phone - android. I always connected and it is always in my pocket. But iPad & Google Tablet PC are to big, with same capabilities as smart phones are, and with less capabilities compared to almost any laptop. But price is double or triple.
You will end up with nice toy, but useless.
It is same as you take your expensive $2,000 camera to the beach and now think twice if you can go swim and leave it on the sand. It is good, but not for every occasion.

It's happened with every successful company my friend. The railroad, the airlines, the oil companies, etc... I would worry more about the Government than private corporations

I'm waiting for an iPad Killer for too long, what's the problem? It's that so hard to compete with an tablet without flash, slow hardware... and so many other cons!

Hope it's real and this should be released for the public ASAP... iPad is running free for much time!
