seo help for joomal site

Hello all Joomla Gurus

i have a static site which needs to be convert to joomla. that will be not difficult for me. thing is that the static site has different titles, meta keywords, descriptions for all pages. how can i do this. as i know that keywords,description can be change in global setting. and its for all pages. please help me how can i do this for all pages. is there any component for managing keywords, descriptions title for this??

You have it right. Use the global settings to set your description. Use menus and meta keywords to set specific keywords for articles. There is a section on the right hand of every article editing page for setting the meta descriptions and keywords for separate articles.

As stated above there are tons of free extensions to do this. You can also modify page specific descriptions & keywords in admin on the Article page.

Are there too many pages to use the regular Joomla functionality to manage it? Each page had a title, keyword, and description meta tag on the articles for each. You will have no problem updating them all there.
