The level of violence in Iraq is "much worse" than that of Lebanon's civil war, outgoing U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan said in an interview aired Monday. Speaking to the British Broadcasting Corp., Annan agreed that the average Iraqi's life is worse now than it was under Saddam Hussein and called the situation in the country "extremely dangerous." "Given the level of violence, the level of killing and bitterness and the way that forces are arranged against each other, a few years ago, when we had the strife in Lebanon and other places, we called that a civil war; this is much worse," Annan said. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16035086/
Yes just saw Kofi on CNN he has been around long enough to be able to substantiate what his opinion is all about, and moroever he looked genuinely disturbed by what is happening in Iraq Unfortunately guys like Annan are largely overlooked and observed to by paying respect to thats all, but then after the false display of respect the true colors of Bolton, Bush, Blair, et al surface in the standard show of beligerence, uneducation, ignorance, hubris and soap opera acting We missed the opportunity to wipe out the Iraqi's years ago, which we should have done by raising them to the ground. But that opportunity is long gone and now we have the present support team, acting like a back up band for the trashy Paris Britney show What a disgraceful state of affairs and still more soldiers getting killed daily and the political a***holes are inviting an Iraqi Mufti to the White House for lunch Get a life you un-educated morons
Annan's opinions are as worthy as crackwhore's opinion. Tell me Kofi, how's Darfur? Sad your oil for food program isn't funding your 'allies' anymore? What about your dumbass restriction on security forces in Rwanda...did that work-out? Fuck Kofi.
Here is an explanation of my username...I love the fact that A) this is the best you can do, and B) you think I am a kid....lmfao!! I am married and have a kid on the way... In regards to Annan's comments...they were better off, and so was he, by making all that extra cash on the "oil for food" campaign....
