Well Google has traditionally had a habit of filling many Google AdSense and AdWords publisher's Christmas stockings with presents from their very own Google Santa Claus, who tends to visit the good little publishers and advertisers homes early in Decemeber. Last year it was: - USB Hub - Wireless Mouse - 2 Batteries - 128mb Flash Card - headphones - USB Torch + Leather Case So I wonder when and what it will be this year, and more importantly I wonder how much it costs an advertiser or how much a publisher has to earn for Google's Santa Claus to consider us "good little boys or girls"? Going by what was mentioned last year, it looks like AdSense publishers needed to have earned over the $10,000 mark for the year, maybe even more to qualify for the Google gift. Please if you received the Christmas present from Google last year can you share with us all how much you earned from Google AdSense for 2005. Thanks.
Hmm, too bad, I've shifted over 90% of my Google income to YPN. I think that got me on their "naughty" list.
I didn't know google does something like this. I have broken the 10k barrier so I'll let you know if I get anything this year When do they usually send out gifts?
I think they should give out some meaningful presents like PS3 , especially considering people can't get hold of one.
They normally seem to send them out sometime between the 10th - 15th of December from what I can tell. I personally have only earnt $9,800 this year so I'm a bit worried that I may miss the cutoff, . So wish me luck. I'd be all for Google sending out PS3's - but somehow I don't think that is going to happen. If there past presents are anything to go by the will be sending out something computer related.
I didn't make $10,000 last year but I did receive the gift. I will make over that this year and have already received my gift from Google. I think I got it around November 29th or so. There's already a couple threads about this year's gift. Just search the forum for "gift".
Wow! I didn't even realise. I guess that means I didn't make the cut this year (oh well there is always next year). But I must admit Christmase presents in November... that has got to be bad luck, like putting your Christmas tree up in November.
I have made 19K this year. But I haven't received anything yet... I wonder if non-US publishers gets the present too...
Anyway, the big earners should be able to buy themselves some decent presents, so they don't really need google to give tyhem one.
No matter how much you earn, it's always good to get something for free Funny, now that I look at my earnings for this year. I've went from 30 dollars a day to 150 dollars a day. Now that's some growth
But this is google marketing strategy to give presents, so they keep big earners against the competition... and everyone loves presents, so this strategie works.
Got the "goodies" last year, but seen nothing this year. About the same as far as production goes so I'm still hopeful...
