We have all seen the threads of people that say they were banned form Adsense. The email usually includes something like your earnings have been refunded to the advertisers. Has anyone ever gotten a refund?
Yes, we always receive the refunds. but always receive cents due probably there is thousands of advertisers to get a share from a single banned account.
So does it look like a specific refund, or do you get a monthly 'discount on your account due to banned accounts' type message.
It appears in random periods - the frequency and values depend on of your content network budget. It don't shows as 'banned accounts' and don't make reference to it but we know that its is for banned accounts - also it can be for some situations of any refund - but when it is some small non integer values like for example '$5.48' - we know that is due one or more banned account refund around there. It shows at our Billing Summary like that: Jun 21 . . . . . . . . . . . Service Adjustment [?] . . . . . . . . . . . R$-5.48 (sorry to lazzy know for a screenshot) and when you press the [?] the following help pop ups: It tells nothing about AdSense banned accounts
I don't think it's a day-by-day thing. I used to get multiple credits per month but since July, it appears as if they're crediting every two months or so. Maybe GFC can clarify.
I'm not sure if they apply credits in any global pattern, maybe it's specific to accounts? I'm just guessing here...never really looked into it. In one of my accounts; July, 1 adjustment on 1 day August, 2 adjustments on 2 days September, 3 adjustments on 2 days October, 4 adjustments on 4 days. November, 4 adjustments on 2 days
It's bound to differ per account in the sense that different accounts are affected when different publishers get banned. But four adjustments on two days in November doesn't even sound like they add up the ones from the same day.
Wow this is surprising I didn't really think about user banning in adsense, in the adwords user's eyes. So overall would you guys say it's decreased or increased. This might help in pointing just where google adsense and adwords may be headed. Thank you
