I think the theme should match the action involved with motocross so gets people hyped. Or you can keep it tame and informative. Dunno if wordpress themes can incorperate that.
I think it looks a bit "unproffesional". Though it's not that bad. (Change the color of the links. Dark red doesnt work well on dark grey.) I would also change the slogan you have "^It's true, here we live to ride.". to something 'cooler'. (I understand if you have not gotten everything up and running on the blog yet, so I wont go too hard on you. Best of luck to you and I hope everything will turn out well!
Good and clean sheet. However you need to look into your flash games. Its original size seems overriding the allocated size. Small things like the use of css you need to harden the skills, and the use of suitable wordpress plugins and hacks function need to look for more. I am also still a learner. Anyway, still a good design. Keep the hard work. Thanks for all the great feedback. I know about the games problem and they aren't staying on the frontpage long. Also I am trying to make the theme more exicting for motocross but i don't what to do for that. Any suggestions?
Theme is looking cool you should modify a css a bit so that it will look professional otherwise its clean and good
Mostly you can use image header. Use custom or free royalty images for header. In this situation, you can find something like motorcross, little bit of mud, crowd cheering side of the road etc.. Just need a good image design. That's all. Other than that, maybe the use of colour. Red/blue for motorcross itself, yellow/brown for muds, white and black for style and clean free space. It depends. Just generating ideas. Im not a pro, but sure we can share ideas and improve together. Always get ideas from other themes, modify and improve it. One site suggestion is EzWpThemes for Sports. Enjoy!
