Selling Established MOVIE SITE, PR2,3 years old

I bought this site in late 2007 and grew it to peak of 14k uniques /day and PR4... Then in mid 2008 google changed algorithm and site went from page 1 od SERPs to page 50....

In start of 2009 i launched another linking campaign, but after some success and reaching again 2000 uniques/day, visitors started slowly declining, as I had no time to spend on this site (have other bigger projects)...

I did some SEO in last few weeks and average daily uniques went again to 500-700 range (being as low as 250 few months ago).

I used to monetize site with adsense, but after received google's warrning, i stopped. I monetized with Zango, and later with CPAlead. Income from both were over $1000/month in 2008, and over $300/month in 2009. In mid 2009 i removed both in hope to raise in SERPs. Today monetization is done thru my own text links ads that promote clickbank products. Average monthly income is around $60 (december 2009 - june 2010 total of $450)... I was thinking about adding CPAlead or Zango (pinball or whatever is called) but since i hate doing things only half-way thru, I decided its better to sell the site off and rather work on my other projects...

Site is based on WordPress, with custom/unique theme.

Movies are added to site daily, every day, by outsourced help (someone i found here on DP). I will pass this worker's contact to buyer to continue the relationship if so chosen by buyer... I am currently paying $1/day for 6 added movies/day, and worker's responsability is to find them around at other sites/forums....

So all in all, there is 0 work for owner (other than obvious promotion/seo which is needed for better rankings).

All 3 sites are automated so that posts from one are published on others (i am using commercial plugin $57 value (wp post blaster), which i will give to you with licence free of charge). Sites are PR1, and 2 years old. In this case I will also add a list of researched 6 deep keywords for which ranking is easy/possible for further optimization...

When you get back: Is the content legal? Why did you get a warning from adsense?

sorry for late response, i am abroad, and on slow 3g connection...
i am following this thread, but its difficult to come online / respond.

anyhow -before going abroad, i set up CPAlead.com campaign again for test, but forgot to disable it before i left office... and since i clicked all the options in cpalead (adblock protection etc, without reading the info) i am sure this is responsible for blocking you described... I disabled cpalead now, so everything should be back to normal.

regarding question on legal content... these sites include just embed html link to youtube and other video providers videos.
we host no content what so ever. so, it is as legal as google's search results page. regarding adsense - i mentioned that i got warning from google years ago, about this site - so i then decided to remove adsense from site, and not to debate issue with them (they are google after all)...

in all years i received DMCA notice just once (email from producer of some low budget movie), and i immediatelly removed link to that movies's video file on youtube. but again, that is just me playing it nicely, since - we just provide link to whatever is out there. and if it is illegal - then it is hosters and the guy who uploaded it problem, not ours. that was last i heard from that guys... so is it legal? i have my conscience clean. to be honest - quality of videos is not the best, so anyone serious about seeing a movie, will still go to cinema... and sites like mine have just a some sort of teaser function...

 

@boatsorce: the reason google gave me in mail was : "As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites involved in the distribution of copyrighted materials." ...

but i am not distributing copyrighted materials... i am just linking to content elsewhere... but... do you think i could argue my point with google
