I'm interested in website flipping. After spending hours searching the net for information, thought I would ask my fellow DP members for some advice. Here's what I am wondering: Can a profit realistically be made with minimal startup and without tons of website knowledge? I currently write content for sites. So, I understand keywords, ranking, etc. Secondly, are there any good sites that you have found helpful? All I run across are ebook peddlers, I'm hoping there is something more out there! I appreciate any advice you can provide on the subject. Thanks in advance for taking time to answer my questions!
What sort of flipping? Domains or full websites? are u making these sites or buying them and reselling after you have some traffic and members.
I think that I will start my making my own from the ground up. I figured that this would be lower in startup costs and also give me the chance to learn websites from the ground up. Your thoughts? How did you get started?
Domain flipping or website flipping? 1) Do some keyword research, monthly searches, its value, competitions etc (use google keyword tool) 2) Register a domain related to that keyword and having some SEO value. 3) Find affordable wordpress hosting and start posting. As you are a content writer, it will be easy to get ranked if you write quality unique articles. If feeling lazy, setup an autoblog based on your niche. 4) Wait for the results (traffic, pagerank and position in search terms). 5) Hilight them and sell it! If looking for domain flipping, the process is a little more simpler. 1) Get a pagerank domain (Advantage: Already developed and have backlinks) from any of these forums like Digitalpoint, namepros, DNforum etc. Or have a look at godaddy auctions, name.com expiring domains, expired domains list from pool.com etc etc.. 2) Develop it or flip it with a higher price tag.
